Burrata & Prosciutto Honey Pizza


Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 Tbsp of warm water

  • 1 package active dry yeast

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 3 Tbsp melted butter

  • 1 egg

  • 3 Tbsp milk

  • 3 cups flour

  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Combine 2 Tbps of warm water, sugar, & yeast in a small bowl & let rest 5-10 minutes until yeast is bloomed & foamy.

  2. In a large mixing bowl add melted butter, egg, milk, yeast mixture 1 cup warm water, 1 ½ cups flour & salt. Mix well to combine. Add remainder of flour to creat dough Place dough on a floured surface & knead at least 5-10 minutes until smooth. If sticky while kneading, add a small amount of flour at a time & continue. Dough should be soft not sticky.

  3. Coat a large bowl with olive oil. Place dough in bowl & turn to coat with oil. Cover with dry towel in oven (not on) for 1-3 hours for fluffy dough.

  4. Remove dough from oven, then preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  5. Spread large pan with generous amount of olive oil Gently stretch dough and place on sheet, using fingertips gently work dough to edges of pan. Let rest 15 min.

  6. Add toppings as desired. Bake for 15-30 minutes.



Burrata & Prosciutto Honey Pizza Recipe

  • Homemade pizza dough

  • Local Hive Honey (I used New England!)

  • Prosciutto

  • Garlic Salt

  • Balsamic glaze

  • Burrata

  • Arugula

Preparation

  1. Roll out pizza dough to desired shape.

  2. Spread a thin layer of olive oil & top with garlic salt.

  3. Then top with Burrata & proscuitto. Cook in pizza oven or oven until crust a golden brown & cheese melted. (450 for around 10-15 minutes)

  4. Top with balsamic glaze, honey, & arugula. Mangia!
